Dr. Andrea Carganico

My goal in orthodontics starts with a simple idea: achieving a perfect result means looking beyond tooth alignment.

After graduating in Dentistry with honors, I specialized in Orthodontics at the University of Insubria, where I am currently pursuing a PhD in Life Sciences and Biotechnologies.

Today, my clinical practice is dedicated exclusively to orthodontics, treating both adults and growing patients with clear aligners, fixed appliances and interceptive approaches.

Over time, working with younger patients has strengthened my interest in the relationship between growth, function and orthodontic treatment. Maxillary expansion, oral function and myofunctional approaches are therefore an important part of my clinical and scientific interests.

Research has always developed alongside my clinical work. I regularly contribute to scientific publications in international journals, with research spanning clear aligners, maxillary expansion, masticatory function and other aspects of contemporary orthodontics.

I also share my clinical and research experience through lectures and scientific congresses, bringing together the three areas that define my work today: clinical practice, research and education.
